In residential school they cut his hair, forbade him to speak his language and tried to rid him of his Dakota ways. Yet today he remains a man deeply proud and committed to the Dakota way of life. Learn how culture can heal, guide and shape identity.

They laughed at her visions, attacked her and turned her away – convinced that as an Indigenous woman she simply was not good enough. Yet today she remains deeply committed to the dreams and visions Creator has given her and living the sacred way of life of her ancestors. Learn how courage, resolve and conviction can overcome challenges, deepen identity and bring about peace.
